Rules & Restrictions

As part of our security efforts in compliance with the venue and city, we asked that all guests follow the safety rules listed below:

1. No re-entry
2. No outside food or drink 
3. No bags over 18 inches
4. Under 18 y/o must be accompanied by an adult
5. Must be 21 years of age or older to drink
6. No drugs or paraphernalia allowed 
7. Any guest seen without an event wristband or badge may be subject to ejection

Guests will be asked to return all restricted items to their vehicle. Guests who are caught in the festival site with restricted items will have the object confiscated and may be subject to ejection.
Our security team reserves the right to search any and all bags before granting access into the grounds. We appreciate your cooperation, please review the following item lists before coming to Michigan Metal Fest:


PERMITTED ITEMS:
  -bags smaller than 16" x 16" x 8" (including soft-sided coolers, backpacks and diaper bags, bags cannot have a rigid interior or exterior frame)
  -binoculars
  -blankets
  -cameras - photo and video
  -drink boxes (only if you have children in your party or for medical needs)
  -headphones
  -plastic baby bottles (only if you have a child in your party)
  -lawn chairs
  -strollers
  -umbrellas (large golf umbrellas or umbrellas with metal tips are strongly discouraged)

PROHIBITED ITEMS:tents and pop up canopies
  -aerosol cans (hairspray, mace, pepper spray, etc.)
  - animals (except ADA certified service animals) Think of the safety of your animal and before bringing them to a loud, crowded concert.
  - bags larger than 16" x 16" x 8"
  - beverages of any kind (except juice boxes with children in your party, or for medical needs)
  - bottles (glass or plastic)
  - liquid containers of any kind (glass, metal, paper, styrofoam, plastic, etc.)
  - fireworks, firearms or other weapons
  - framed backpacks
  - coolers
  - knives (any size)
  - laser devices/pointers
  - markers, paint

noise making devices: air horns, bullhorns, thundersticks, cowbells, belis, horns, kazoos, whistles, and other noisemakers
